LA EDUCACIÓN NACIONAL

La educación nacional está fracasando debido a que es demasiado tradicional. Está atrasada con respecto a la época en la que vivimos y las problemáticas sociales existentes. Éstas necesitan de soluciones de raíz para que no sigan siendo una parte de la concepción de la vida, como la población lo cree. Dichas soluciones deben involucrar un mejoramiento pedagógico y empleo de las nuevas tecnologías de información.

La utilización de las nuevas tendencias pedagógicas es una necesidad que no puede ignorarse en nuestro país. En un país dónde 40 estudiantes se encuentran en aulas de clase pequeñas debido a la poca inversión de los recursos públicos en la educación. Es elemental implementar una pedagogía que tenga resultados más efectivos. Esta pedagogía como es el caso de la Aula Invertida, permite que los estudiantes sean más críticos y utilicen la cantidad de tiempo que en verdad necesitan para entender un tema. También permite que los aprendices puedan mejorar sus competencias en las diferentes disciplinas debido al asesoramiento necesario por parte del profesor.

Considero que gran parte de nuestros estudiantes se encontrarían en desventaja para trabajar bajo esta nueva pedagogía. Por una parte, ya que muchos no cuentan con el acceso a los equipos de cómputo en los cuales tendrían que trabajar; esto sin tener en cuenta que el acceso a la web es un costo adicional para las familias, quienes no van a recurrir al servicio de internet cuando deben pagar los servicios básicos. Por otro lado, muchos profesores no están dispuestos a cambiar su metodología tradicional. Ellos, aún siguen creyendo en una educación de transmisión de conocimientos en donde el estudiante es el que aprende y el docente es quien sabe e instruye. Entonces, la autonomía de aprendizaje no está siendo fomentada en las escuelas, pues requiere tiempo de preparación de las lecciones. Debe ser por esta razón que tal pedagogía no es muy popular en las instituciones de educación pública del país.
Algunos mecanismos que podrían usarse para abordar el primer problema, que podríamos llamar técnico, y, sería la multiplicación de espacios públicos dónde los ciudadanos tengan acceso a equipos de cómputo con acceso a la web. Para abordar el segundo, considero que es mucho trabajo el que se debe hacer, primero se deben cambiar esas creencias que muchos profesores tienen y luego, capacitarlos en el manejo de las TIC, incentivando a implementarlas en sus clases.

Soluciones como las mencionadas anteriormente pueden mejorar la calidad de vida de la sociedad colombiana. Al ser más educados, serán más críticos y tomaran mejores decisiones con respecto a sus vidas y a la dirección que la sociedad debe llevar. Consecuentemente, no son medidas que afecten sólo a los estudiantes involucrados, sino también a sus familias al futuro de la sociedad ya que los jóvenes serán quienes hagan parte de la toma de decisiones años después, mejorando la calidad de vida y la sociedad.

Diwali is certainly the biggest and the brightest of all Hindu festivals. It's the festival of lights.
The legend says that the Hindu god, Lord Rama, had a beautiful wife called Sita who was captured by the demon king Ravana. Lord Rama fought the demon king and rescued his wife. In Diwali, we celebrate Rama’s return with his wife. It signifies that good triumphs over Evil.
